#TBT: TV on the Radio

You know them now…but what did they sound like way back when?

TV on the Radio

TV On The Radio has been called “the most innovated band on the planet”(AV Club) along with simply “superb” (Rolling Stone). The American indie-rock band started up in 2001 in Brooklyn, New York, quickly establishing themselves as defining musicians of this generation. They released their first major EP “Young Liars” in 2003, and a year later released their debut album “Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes”. TV on the Radio’s 2011 Nine Types of Light was deemed “pure heaven” by the cherubs at Rolling Stone, earning the band a Grammy nomination for Best Music Film.

If you’re a fan of TVOTR, you’re probably rocking out to their newest single “Happy Idiot” from their most recent album Seeds on repeat, but this throwback jam “Wolf Like Me” will get you moving.

TV on the Radio will be playing Sunday at 4:30pm on the Jefferson Stage
